The primary responsibility of this ministry is to pray and intercede for the needs of Liberty Worship Center, the Pastor, membership, governmental authority, souls, and the community. This ministry also prays for and visits the sick, the shut-in and those hospitalized or bound in any way.
"Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones, lift up a standard for the people" (Isaiah 62:10)
The Women's Ministry department gets together on a quarterly basis to encourage, uplift and build each other in fellowship and on God's Word. The women engage in activities that foster an environment to share with each other spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. Under the direction of the Holy Spirit, the women host women's seminars and an annual conference with featured guest speakers. These events have proven to be life changing for the hurt and broken in the body of Christ and to non-believers. The women also coordinate a bi-annual Community Give-Away, providing free clothing, household and other items to disadvantaged families in the Stone Mountain community.
